Country of Manufacture: Japan. Hasami ware is a ceramic porcelain that is fired in Hasami town in Toukidkou County, Nagasaki Prefecture. It has more than 400 years of tradition similar to Arita ware and pottery pottery in Arita town in adjacent Saga prefecture. The hand-painted brush strokes are contrasted with the blue image and white vessel just like canvas. This is suitable for both Japanese and Western food. There may be slight differences in color and pattern due to hand painting
