About this craft
Netsuke (根付) are traditionally carved Japanese toggles used to secure pouches to obi sashes. This ceramic miniature adapts that principle for modern keychains. The maneki-neko symbolism (招き猫) dates to Edo-period folk tradition. Yakushi Kiln uses Seto yakimono heritage techniques (900+ years of pottery tradition).
Description
Miniature black maneki-neko netsuke from Seto; lucky cat keychain charm with clasp
Keep indoors away from direct sunlight to prevent glaze fading. Dust with soft dry cloth. Avoid drops; porcelain is fragile. Not waterproof. Check clasp closure regularly to prevent loss.
