About this craft
Mino-yaki (美濃焼) is one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, centered in Gifu Prefecture. Ichikyu is a small studio within this tradition. Natural glaze variation and iron-oxide specks reflect traditional kiln-firing methods, not manufacturing defects.
