About this craft
Tsugaru Bidoro (津軽びいどろ) is a 300-year-old glassmaking tradition from Aomori Prefecture in northern Japan. Hand-blowing and annealing create distinctive soft colors and swirling patterns. Yamawakaba (fresh mountain leaves) reflects Japanese seasonal sensitivity to spring growth. Aderia is the authorized modern steward.
