About this craft
Tsugaru Bidoro (津軽びいどろ) is a 300-year-old glassmaking tradition from Aomori Prefecture in northern Japan. The craft uses traditional glassblowing and annealing techniques to create glass with distinctive swirling patterns and soft, opaque color. Aderia is the official contemporary producer.
Description
Handmade Tsugaru glass sake cup with traditional Aomori craftsmanship
Hand wash gently; not recommended for dishwasher due to delicate surface. Dry immediately to prevent water spots. Store upright to avoid pressure on glass. Due to hand-forming, each piece has natural color and pattern variation.
