About this craft
Haibara is an Edo-era Tokyo stationer specializing in washi—handmade Japanese paper. The colored-edge and hand-dyeing techniques reflect traditional Japanese letterpress aesthetics. Grid underlays (rather than ruled lines) honor brush-writing traditions.
Description
Handcrafted Tokyo washi letter set for calligraphy and fountain pen writing
Store flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the subtle dye colors. Use with fountain pens, brush pens, or gel inks; avoid heavy ballpoint pressure that may tear the delicate fibers.
