Kumano brushes are a regional Japanese tradition. δΈεε (Ippindo) is a specialist brush maker using traditional techniques: hand-tied wool and rabbit-hair bristles, wooden shaft construction. Kaisho and fine brushes support classical Japanese calligraphy (shodo) practice.
Description
Handmade Kumano sumi brushes for kaisho and fine script writing, thick & fine pair
Rinse bristles immediately after use in cool water. Do not let ink dry on bristles. Lay horizontally to dry or hang bristle-down. Store in a brush stand or case. Replace bristles may shed slightly during break-in; this is normal.
