About this craft
Iwachu is a Morioka-based Nambu ironware master, continuing a 350-year tradition of cast iron craft. Nambu-tetsu uses traditional sand-mold casting and hand-finishing, a method passed through Japanese artisan families.
Description

Dust with a soft cloth. The chime will develop a natural patina over time with exposure to air and humidity, which is characteristic of cast iron. No special oiling required unless you prefer a polished appearance.
