About this craft
Magewappa (曲げわっぱ) is a 350+ year Kyoto woodcraft—thin cedar is steamed and bent into a seamless box, then lacquered. The furoshiki (wrapping cloth) and complete lunch-set concept reflect Japanese lunch-packing tradition.
