About this craft
Magewappa is a traditional wood-bending technique from Japan's Nagano region. Thin cedar strips are steamed and curved to form a seamless bento box without nails or glue, allowing wood's natural antimicrobial properties to preserve food.
Description
Traditional Japanese cedar bento box with curved magewappa design
Hand wash with warm water and mild soap; air dry immediately to prevent water staining. Do not soak or place in dishwasher. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. With regular use, the wood patina will deepen naturally. Do not use harsh abrasives.
