Rakusushi (落水紙) is a specialized Tokushima washi technique dating centuries. Water droplets are strategically fallen onto pulp during formation, creating a one-of-a-kind lace-like openwork pattern. Hemp fiber (kozo alternative) is traditional in Japanese paper craft.
