About this craft
Mino ware, produced across Gifu Prefecture towns (Tajimi, Mizono, Kayo), is one of Japan's six major pottery traditions with 1,400 years of history. Oribe glaze is named after Furuta Oribe, a samurai tea master, and is central to Japanese tea ceremony aesthetics.

Hand-wash recommended to preserve glaze; dishwasher safe but gentle cycle preferred. Microwave safe. The Oribe green glaze will develop subtle variations with age. Do not subject to rapid temperature changes.
