About this craft
The shamoji (rice spoon) is a traditional Japanese kitchen tool, shaped to prevent rice from sticking and to serve it without crushing grains. Nagao curates woodcraft from Tsubame-Sanjo, a 400-year-old metalware and woodware region in Niigata.
