About this craft
Nambu Tetsubin (鍋部鉄瓶) is a UNESCO-recognized traditional craft from Iwate Prefecture, Japan. Kawamotoya has cast iron since the Meiji era. Yuri design draws from classic Japanese iconography—plum (longevity), bamboo (resilience), pine (steadfastness).
Description
Handmade Nambu iron chime with cool, resonant summer tone
Hang indoors near a window or on a covered eave to catch summer breeze. Silk strands may fray slightly with age—this is natural. Iron will develop patina; light rust is normal and adds character. Do not submerge. Wipe gently with dry cloth.
