About this craft
Ka-ya (mosquito net fabric) is a traditional Nara Prefecture textile with a distinctive coarse, open weave that maximizes airflow and absorbency — a household staple in Japan for generations.
Description
Nara ka-ya dish towel in gray. 7-layer absorbent, quick-dry traditional fabric
Pre-wash with water or lukewarm water to remove sizing starch before use. Starch finish makes towel initially crisp; softens and becomes fluffy after each wash. Machine washable.
