About this craft
Tsumami zaiku is a centuries-old Japanese textile art where small squares of fabric are folded and layered to create three-dimensional designs. Traditionally used for kimono ornaments and ceremonial dress, this kit adapts the technique to craft a Hina doll for Hinamatsuri, the Japanese girls' festival celebrated in March.

Work on a clean, flat surface. Use scissors and adhesive carefully. Keep beads and small parts away from children under 8. Store unused crepe paper in a cool, dry place to prevent color fading.
