About this craft
Tosa (Kōchi) has been Japan's primary tool-forging region since the 1600s. The crescent (三日月, mikkazuki) blade shape is traditional to Japanese garden work, balancing curved cutting edge with precise weeding leverage.
Description
Sharpen regularly with whetstone; oil blade after use to prevent rust. Dry immediately after wet work. Store in protective sheath. Best for soft grass and light brush; not for heavy cutting
