About this craft
Yamanaka is a lacquerware tradition from Ishikawa Prefecture dating to the 16th century. Nousaku specializes in tin metalwork and tableware casting, also based in Ishikawa. This collaboration represents two distinct Japanese craft disciplines—wood lacquering and cast-tin work—merged in functional tableware.
Description
Hand-carved chopsticks with tin rests in heritage craft collaboration
Hand wash immediately after use; do not soak or place in dishwasher. Air dry thoroughly. Tin rests may develop patina with age, which is natural. Store in paulownia box in cool, dry place to preserve wood finish.
