Oak Village draws on Hida Takayama's 1,300-year tradition of Japanese carpentry (Hida takumi). The maker uses sustainably harvested Japanese hardwoods and combines traditional wood-joinery knowledge with modern environmental stewardship.

Set of five Japanese wood bookmarks with washi inlay, species-labeled
Handle gently; natural wood may show color variation and minor grain movement over time. Keep dry. Avoid excessive flexing to prevent cracking at the washi inlay.
