About this craft
Hina dolls (hina ningyō) are essential to Hinamatsuri, the centuries-old Girls' Festival celebrated March 3rd in Japan. Iroe technique—hand-painted underglaze decoration—preserves traditional pottery methods from regional Japanese kilns.
Description
Hand-painted porcelain hina dolls with felt base and custom name tag
Dust gently with soft cloth. Avoid water and direct sunlight to preserve hand-painted color. Each piece is hand-fired pottery; minor firing variation and air bubbles are natural and expected. Suitable for indoor shelf or display case.
