Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth after use; pat dry immediately. Do not soak or place in dishwasher. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct heat or sunlight. Store flat or on a stand designed for trays. Over time, cashew lacquer may develop a subtle amber tone, which is normal and valued in Japanese aesthetics.
