About this craft
Matcha tea ceremony (chanoyu) is a refined Japanese cultural practice emphasizing mindfulness and aesthetic restraint. The chasen (whisk), chashaku (scoop), and chawan (bowl) are traditional implements, though this set is production-level rather than artisan-made.
Description
7-piece matcha ceremony set with ceramic bowl and traditional whisk
Hand wash ceramic bowl and whisk immediately after use. Allow whisk to air-dry standing upright. Store in cool, dry place. Ceramic may develop patina with use—this is normal and valued in tea practice.
