BUYING FROM JAPAN
Buying Hobonichi limited editions from Japan
Hobonichi sells internationally, but not everything. Collaboration covers, Japanese-edition planners and items sold at Japanese stationery stores are often easiest to get from Japan.
What people request from Japan
- Collaboration covers and accessories released on the Japanese store, sometimes in small quantities.
- Japanese-edition planners (Techo Original A6 is Japanese-edition only) and Japanese-language refills.
- Items stocked at Japanese retailers such as Loft, which often carry their own selection during planner season (roughly September to January).
Tips before you request
- Check the size: A6 (Original / Techo), A5 (Cousin), or Weeks. Covers only fit their own size. Our guide How to choose a Hobonichi planner explains the differences.
- Popular covers can sell out on release day. If a first-come item is gone before we can buy it, you are refunded in full.
- Paste the exact product link from the Japanese store so we buy the right color and size.
How our personal shopper works
- Send the link or a description of what you want, plus your country.
- We quote within 1β2 business days: item price + 25% sourcing fee + shipping from Tokyo. For US deliveries, import duties are prepaid by us and included, so there is nothing to pay on delivery.
- You approve and pay by secure link. We buy the item in Japan and ship it with tracking. If a limited item can't be secured, you get a full refund.
