Tokoname ware is hand-thrown earthenware from Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture — one of Japan's six traditional pottery regions (rokuyaki). Known for warm, porous red and tan clay bodies that absorb and retain tannins, deepening tea flavor over time.
Description
Tokoname earthenware kyusu, 560ml, with integrated strainer
Rinse with warm water after each use; do not scrub with abrasive pads. Air dry upside-down. To season: brew light tea first, then discard. Avoid thermal shock (do not rinse with cold water immediately after brewing hot tea).
