About this craft
Tenugui (手ぬぐい) is a traditional Japanese cotton cloth, historically used as towel, scarf, and craft fabric. Kamawanu (米七) is a Kyoto textile house specializing in hand-printed tenugui with small traditional patterns. No fray-prevention honors the cloth's natural selvage edge and traditional finish.
Description
Kamawanu tenugui, 100% cotton Japanese towel cloth in white small pattern
Wash in cool water; tenugui softens with use. Dry flat or hang to prevent wrinkles. No bleach. Natural indigo or pattern may slightly bleed in first wash—rinse separately. Iron on low heat if needed. Cloth improves with age and washing.
