About this craft
Shigaraki-yaki is one of Japan's six ancient kilns, with 1200+ year pottery heritage. Hand-thrown Hechimon earthenware embodies wabi-sabi aesthetic—beauty in natural imperfection and variation.
Description
Hand-thrown Shigaraki pottery coffee set with traditional glaze
Hand wash recommended. Avoid dishwasher and microwave to preserve glaze. Due to hand-thrown nature, each piece varies slightly. Gradual darkening of surface patina is natural and desirable with age.
