About this craft
Bizen-yaki is a 1000-year-old Japanese pottery tradition from Okayama Prefecture, known for unglazed stoneware with natural ash glaze and earthy tones. Yamashita Kogei continues this craft using traditional hand-forming techniques.
Description
Rustic Bizen-style pottery plate with traditional hand-formed character
Hand wash gently; air dry. The unglazed surface is porous and may absorb water and stains over time, adding to its character. Avoid prolonged soaking.
